First of all training your dog is not an easy job. It takes time and patience. Of course, simple commands like SIT, DOWN, UP and so on are not so difficult to teach. But to change dog's
behavior in unusual situations is a real hard thing.
The best time to start training is while the dog is still a puppy. I think everybody knows that. But it is not too late even if the dog is 10+ years old.
First of all you need to get a good training course. You can always try google and search for a free one. After searching and testing a lot of free ones I understand that they all are missing something. They looked nice, but something just was not like it should be. So I tried my luck and bought this one the Complete Gold package. You can search for something other or take this one. My advice would be to just make sure what the package consists of. This was the one I searched for a while so I recommend it to you.
